Where I Watched : Hidive Genre : supernatural / mystery / thriller Originally Priemere : 2011

Summary : A teenager named Yumeji has the ability to predict dreams of other people . It’s a pretty cool power but it doesn’t help him with his problem , that being he is being chased in his dreams by a dream demon . Things are looking bad but then a girl he met earlier that showed up in his dream and saves him . This girl is named Merry Nightmare and she is a dream demon stuck in our world against her will . Yumeji decides he’ll help her find a way back to the dream world , in the mean time they’ll fight off other dream demons together .

Review : I started watching this as Hidive was about to drop it and I felt like it was an interesting concept . I’m so glad I decided to check it out before the show left . The two main characters have strong chemistry and the other side characters are believable as friends . The show has a good main villain but admitedly I was expecting a different dream demon to be the series villain as they kept bringing the character up . I guess the other villain plays a bigger role in the manga the show is based off of but I can’t find that in English so … anyways , imagine a YA Nightmare on Elm Street and you’ll get the vibes . Check it out !!!
