Summary : Two kids ( Polly and Tick ) who are way too old to be in a nursery are stuck in a nursery with a nanny . They have never met their parents , but they keep hoping they will one day . Most of all their needs are taken care of by machines and the nanny which is good because there are shadow creatures referred to as Creepers waiting outside the nursery waiting to kill them . Oh no , the machines stopped working and the nannies died ? Looks like we got to get the hell outta dodge while avoiding these dangerous monsters .

Review : So I left out a lot of details in the summary because I think it’ll be more fun for y’all just to discover them on your own . That being said , this is a great story . Like damn , I was cheering for little Tick all the way through and while most of the story is grim the ending is the most wholesome I’ve read from this author . Get it folks !
