Story 1 -The Toll

Summary : Kirsty , the protagonist from “The Hellbound Heart” by Clive Barker and the original “Hellraiser” film , is forced to go one on one with the Hell Priest for the final time .

Story 2 – Nesting

Summary : A car crash victim is carrying the Hell Priest’s child .

Story 3 – The Dive

Summary : A man discovers a new bar in his neighborhood filled with mysterious creatures and decide to join them on a crime spree .

Story 4 – What The Body Does

Summary : A vampire that drinks period blood is having a hard time finding a woman that fills him .

Review : I’ve read “The Hellbound Heart” and “The Scarlet Gospels” years ago and I want to say that “The Toll” was a satisfying story that fits the mood of these stories . Now the continuity of the series is a little mixed up but with the concepts they deal with it feels like it just makes sense . That does remind me I need to reread the other two books and put them up on the site . The book has reignited my love for these characters . As far as the other short stories go , they are fun , written well , with an openly dark sense of humor , but I’ll openly admit to buying this strictly for the “Hellraiser” connections .
