Summary : This is a collection of letters written by ” Lord of the Rings” author J.R.R. Tolkien to his children under the guise of the mythical figure Father Christmas . It’s essentially short stories involving Father Christmas , his clumsy assistant polar bear , his elf secretary (all 3 of which join in on the letter writing sometimes interrupting the others part of the way through ) and their dealings with snowmen , gnomes , elves , cave bears , and goblin wars .

Review : These are cute stories to share with your kids . In fact I’m inclined to share this with my daughter . It’s also just an easy relaxing read by one of the most influential writers of all time . Check it out guys !
