Summary : An undead killer with mommy issues kills people in the woods to get his mother’s necklace . He also makes sure to get his steps in . Guess being buried tends to slow one down .

Review : This is a pretty obvious homage to the “Friday the 13th” franchise . It’s got a lot of the same elements , a thin story filled with characters you’ll forget after they were killed , set in the woods . Now the film does have some improvements such as amazing sound design , some wonderful nature shots , and we spend most of the time watching over the killer , not even really pretending to care about the victims . There are a few strikes against the film however . The acting is as bad as the franchise it’s a tribute to , the story is even smaller than your typical slasher , and the worst part of all for “Friday the 13th” fans … no naked people , sorry guys . Overall , it’s a well shot slasher that benefits from the fact that “Friday the 13th” fans haven’t had a new film in awhile .
