Book Review : The Wicked , Wicked Women by Gardner Fox

Published : 1961 Format : E-book Pages : 142 Genre : Historical Fiction / Vintage Sleaze

“Just as our frontier west endured an age of violence and bloodshed during its expansion , just as Ghana today is enduring it , so too with Cananl Street .”

Summary : This story revolves around Canal Street in Buffalo and the wild men and women that made it . Men such as Mike Gannon and his rival Black John Bennett and their trade war . Women such as Mara Creegam and The Egyptian as they run their brothel empire till they have a falling out that somewhat involves the two men involved earlier . All this leading to a dramatic battle for the very soul of Canal Street !

Review : It’s a short and sweet piece of historical fiction filled with drama , action , and sex . I won’t pretend that the book is a must read but I liked it . Quick and fun . A fun fact fot you , Gardner Fox wrote over 4000 comics .

  1. The Spy Who Loved Me by Ian Fleming. I read this a while back. Ian did a fantastic job writing from a female point of view, IMO. Some may argue with me on that and that’s fine, but I really enjoyed it.
