Summary : In the post apocalyptic future on the outskirts of a small human village a young woman ( Doris Lang ) has a problem . Well , she has a few problems , but the biggest problem being that the local Noble/vampire ( Magnus Lee) wants her . She can’t go to town for help because they’d either run her out of the area or hand her to the vampire themselves . Also she keeps turning down the mayor’s son and he doesn’t take that well . So she looks for help along the roads and she stumbles along the good looking but lethal Vampire Hunter D and offers herself in exchange for protection of both her and her little brother . Follow D as he fights witches , Medusa , a vampire family , a werewolf , and his own … urges .

But that’s not to say they were the ones who caused the nuclear war . Through cryptesthesia , the black arts , and psychic abilities mankind never guessed they’d cultivated , the vampires simply knew when the human race would destroy itself and how they , the vampires , could restore order to the world . “

Review : Buy it ,it’s considered a classic for a reason . A post-apocalyptic story with a Gothic atmosphere and great fight scenes . D and Doris both manage to be strong yet intriguing characters . Just get it .
