1. Reading , guess this should be obvious for a book blog site . Believe it or not I used to get in trouble in jr. high and high school for reading too much in class . May have gone a bit overboard at times . Books have always been an escape for me . No matter what’s going on , there’s always a book to distract me .
2. Walking , it’s good for clearing my head . Usually makes organizing thoughts a lot easier afterwards . Walking outside can be relaxing , walking indoors tends to make me anxious though .
3. Video games , there’s nothing as immersive as a good video game . Granted they tend to be expensive so I don’t indulge in them that much . Still , a lot of my fondest memories growing up are playing Halo with my brother .
4. Writing , this one comes and goes for me . The sheer amount of mental energy it takes can be extremely painful but at other times writing is the only thing I can do to move forward . Probably not doing a great job of making this sound fun for me but just take my word for it .
5. Drawing , this is new for me . I’ve always liked comic books and images from pulp stories but didn’t feel like trying it till recently after seeing my daughter do a few . She is great , me not so much . Good thing I don’t depend on it for income am I right ?

Honestly speaking with y’all … I only decided to write this post for two reasons . The first being that I’m currently having a problem going to sleep and am hoping that this exhausts my mind enough for a nap . The second is that I noticed that I’m close to a hundred posts and figured this would be a nice way to hit the one hundred mark before February hits . Think I’ll be doing more of these though .
