Summary : A young couple ( Eric and Shelly ) are assaulted and killed one night by a group of gangsters after the couple’s car breaks down . Some time later Eric comes back dressed in all black with face paint , weapons , with vengeance on the mind . Wouldn’t want to be one of the guys that pissed him off.

Review : This is the ultimate comic book . There , that’s the review . Oh , I should probably add more details right . First off , this will not be for everyone . It’s filled with explicit violence , contains rape , abuse , and necrophilia . In other words , this is not for kids , and while the 1994 movie does a great job of carrying the spirit of the story , the movie has to make compromises that the comic doesn’t . The feel of the book is like ” Death Wish ” meets “The Phantom Of The Opera ” and with more than a little bit of splatter punk mixed in . In fact , it kinda reminds me of Clive Barker but with more of a punk rock flair . Anyways , read it now !
