Summary : Once upon a time there was a man named Tom Sanders . He is a hard working family man at a tech company . He looks like he is about to get promoted but those hopes are quickly thwarted as he finds out not only is not getting promoted , the job is actually going to an ex-girlfriend of his . He decides it’s not that big of a deal and that he would help her out getting adapted to the job . She invites him to her private office and when he does show up to talk business she tries to have sex with him . She doesn’t accept no for an answer and he essentially runs out . Now he lawyers up for sexual harassment as pretty much everyone in his company believes she’s the victim . Come read this story dealings with sexual harassment , corporate sabotage , and the fascinating uses of virtual reality .

Review : I was kind of nervous about getting into this novel . I love me some Michael Crichton but I wasn’t sure if I’d care about a legal thriller as I mostly stick to his science fiction work ( though I guess there is a little bit of science fiction sprinkled in ) . With that being said , I’m glad I gave it a shot . The novel is great , in fact I read it in one sitting . The book deals with serious subject matter in a nuanced way while not compromising the thrilling aspects . Go give it a read !
