Book Review : Web Of The Witch World by Andre Norton

Genre : Fantasy / Science Fiction Format : E-book Pages : 193 Published : 1964

Summary : Well some time has passed since the first novel . Simon is married to Jaelithe , the witch he saved in the previous story , her losing her power in the process but ultimately things are going pretty good . That is until both Simon and Jaelithe sense a warning indicating their friend Loyse was in peril . Needless to say they have to help . So Simon goes to help take over the kingdom Loyse was from as a possible means to get Loyse back while Jaelithe goes back to the witches in order to utilize her reawakened powers . In the process they discover a plot by their old enemy Kolder , one that can tip the power scales of the Witch World forever !

Review : This was a hell of a follow up to the first novel . All of our favorite characters are back and still feel great . Simon and Jaelithe have become even deeper as their relationship in many ways directed the story . Also there are plenty of twists and turns throughout . I’m looking forward to finishing up this trilogy as these first two were great .
