Summary : Let us meet the former colonel Simon Tregarth . He’s a man on the tun from the law and from outlaws for some shady deals he was involved in . Now it’s important to note that he isn’t a bad guy , just was in the wrong place at the wrong time . Simon stumbles across a Dr. Petronius whom offers a solution , let’s teleport you to another dimension . Simon basically goes well things can’t get any worse so why not and allows himself to be teleported . Within the first few moments in this new dimension he ends up in a fight and ends up saving a witch . She brings him to Eastcarp which is essentially a nation run by witches . Now our boy has to learn their language , help them defend their kingdom , deal with zombies and robots , and even learn to use his own powers . Somehow this doesn’t seem any less dangerous than your previous world but I guess the witch seems to be interested in you so go for it my guy .

Review : Damn , fantasy stories were just better back in the day weren’t they . Simon is a smart tactician and a good man , showing an almost superhero ability to adopt on the fly , but still feeling like a real human being . The author did a great job of explaining the world while not getting so in depth that it kills the momentum and the character work was superb as well . I’m interested in seeing where things go from here . So check it out if you’re a fantasy and/or adventure fan .
