Hey ,so we’re going to give this a shot . Wednesdays feel right as it’s right there in the middle of the week . This is going to just briefly touch up on what I’ve been watching ,reading,etc . throughout the week .

What I’ve been reading : Recently I read another one of ” The Spider” thriller stories as well as one of the “Oz” fantasy books . I’m looking forward to putting the reviews up soon , sometimes I take awhile to actually write something down . Also reading one of the Marvel’s Man-Thing comic omnibuses but I’m probably not going to put something up regarding that as reviewing comic books makes me nervous … can’t figure out why .

What I’ve Been Watching : I’m watching 2 different Japanese cartoons . “I’m Living With a Otaku NEET Kunoichi?!” which deals with a man that is protected by a ninja that kills demons trying to come for him . The hitch being that when the ninja’s not fighting demons they have a tendency to be a total shut-in gamer … but she’s cute so it’s worth it . Then there is “My Instant Death Ability is Overpowered” about a guy who can instantly kill things no matter what . This isn’t meant to be taken too seriously and I appreciate that the protagonist is a lot calmer than most of the anime protags I’ve been seeing . Then there is a live action science fiction series I’ve just recently started called “Blood Machines” … Honestly not sure how I feel about this one but I’m going to soldier through a few more episodes .

What I’ve Been Playing : I’ve been playing a visual novel called “Katawa Shoujo” . It’s actually pretty good though I’m not used to this type of gameplay the story is compelling and I like the characters . I’ve also been playing an unhealthy amount of Civilization 5 , a strategy game . There’s a lot of thought you have to put in it or at least compared to the shooters I tend to play . But I need to stop .
