Summary : A young couple , Jess (in between jobs) and Sophie (hair stylist) are a stubborn but happy couple . They spend their time playing a game , watching others and putting their own spin on those people’s lives , calling it the game . The couple are doing okay but then comes Lena . Lena befriends the couple quickly as she has a similar worldview except she refers to it as kink and she isn’t content just to imagine the change . Trouble starts brewing soon as they allow Lena to move in with them as tensions rise , worldviews change , and obsessions grow .

Review : Let’s hit some of the positive notes . The prose is beautiful , the characters are believable , and the ideas presented are fun to play with . Now the negative … the story is told through Jess and he is a miserable pain in the ass . Would I recommend the book ? Yes , if you have the patience .
