Book Review : Elsewhere by William Peter Blatty

Genre : Horror Format : E- Book Published : 1999

Summary : There is a house named Elsewhere our realtor is working her butt off to sell it . But of course there is a small obstacle in her way . You see quite a few deaths have occurred in the house and it’s got the reputation of being haunted . That’s kind of a drag on the property values so our realtor assembles a team consisting of a novelist , a psychic , and a psychiatrist to disprove the haunting . I , for one , can’t see any way this could possibly go wrong .

Review : I’m a sucker for a haunted house story and I was curious what the author of “The Exorcist” could do with one . The answer is quite a lot despite the fact that the story is only the size of a novella . The atmosphere is haunting , the dialogue is top notch , and the character work is some of the best I’ve ever read . If you can find it then get it .
