“Still , no matter how warped or unnatural , gradually people get used to the situation they find themselves in .”

Summary : Koichi and Mei have accepted the class’s judgement determining to treat them like they don’t exist . It seems like this might just work until the teacher kills himself in front of the class . That sparks debate and investigation in order to find out what could possibly break this phenomena . Some discover that a previous class was able to stop it … by murdering the person who isn’t suppose to be there .
“It was the talisman I believe you’ve become quite familiar with by now . They treated someone in the class as if they were ‘not'”

Review : Damn this story is good . I mean I can’t think of any problems with it . As a mystery it keeps you guessing , it nails the supernatural elements , our protags ( Koichi and Mei) are believable and at no point was I annoyed with them . That’s pretty damn hard to pull off in a horror story . Also the plot twist was … well I don’t want to spoil it so just read the damn book .
“I don’t think death is very gentle . People talk about ‘easy deaths’ all the time , but it’s not like that . It’s dark – darker and lonelier than anything else in the world .”
