Book Review : The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware

Genre : Suspense Published : 2019 Format : Paperback Pages : 355

Summary : So lets say you’re looking online and a job pops up that seems too good to be true . It’s in a secluded spot , the money is more than average for the position , and there is some personal goals you can accomplish by going there . That’s the position our protagonist {redacted] is in when she gets offered a nanny job at a house in Scotland . There are a few catches though such as the house is a “smart house” , the father of the kids is a pervert , there is a poison garden , the kids don’t like her , and the previous nannies all left the house in short order . Also it should be mentioned that this novel is in the form of letters from prison so … well you need to read to see how this ties together .

Review : Intriguing straight from the beginning this novel keeps you guessing all throughout . The one thing you know for sure is that everyone is lying including the person telling you the story . In fact , it got me so damn paranoid that I don’t trust the explanation at the end . Get it guys and gals !
